Is the birth announcement public?

It can only be accessed with its link and does not appear in search engines. You can edit or remove it at any time.

Are my loved ones notified automatically?

No, it’s your choice. If loved ones are following your registry, we offer to send them the birth announcement link by email, just once, after your confirmation.

Does it replace the paper birth announcement?

It complements it: it goes out the very same day, straight to the whole family’s phones, and gives the link to your baby registry to those who want to spoil the baby. Nothing stops you from also sending lovely cards.
